Caregiver Support

Since opening its doors, Carpenter Hospice has recognized the need to support residents, family members, and loved ones throughout the palliative care process. Palliative care is a 24/7 job in the home or a hospice, and we understand that stress and burn-out are genuine issues that caregivers face when caring for their loved ones.

A caregiver is a person who takes on an unpaid caring role for someone who needs help because of a physical or cognitive condition, an injury or a chronic life-limiting illness.

The Hospice is leading the way in establishing more outreach programs in the community and offering more on-site resources to caregivers. We are committed to finding new ways to support our caregivers better.
