10:00 am: 4th Monday Bereavement Support Group
– February 27, 2017
We offer compassionate, non-judgmental support to individuals and families experiencing loss. Our goal is to provide a safe, caring, and compassionate environment to allow individuals to express their feelings and move towards healing.
FREE walking group for adults who are grieving the death of a loved one.
Join trained volunteers for fresh air and exercise with others who are grieving. You can share ideas, receive support, and if you wish, join us at a local coffee shop for further conversation. If you just want to feel supported and not discuss your experience, then that is okay, too!
We try to walk snow, rain or shine. However, in order to maintain safety, we will cancel walks during inclement weather. If Halton schools are closed due to inclement weather, the Bereavement Walking Group will also be cancelled.
You can also call Jackie Storer’s number to confirm cancellations as of 9:00 am on the morning of a scheduled walk.
Singing Well is a bereavement support group for individuals who enjoy singing or would like to learn more about their voice and wellness through singing. No singing experience required.
