Executive Director’s Message Carpenter Hospice is an exceptional place because of the people. Our Hospice team – nurses, personal support workers and physicians – have worked in unprecedented health care times. While challenging, this did not impact the quality of their care or their unwavering commitment to ensuring a meaningful and compassionate experience for every client and their families. We are fortunate to have extraordinary nurses at our Hospice, and we celebrate them and the broader Hospice team by extending a heartfelt thank you today and every day. Director’s Message On the occasion of Nursing Week 2022, I want to thank our entire Hospice team for the care and compassion you share with our residents, their families and the community. While I am still new to the Hospice, I have been so impressed by everyone’s commitment to the house, and I look forward to continuing this vital work alongside you. Thank you for all you do! With sincere appreciation, Jane Ottman
Did you know? National Nursing Week annual celebrations occur from Monday to Sunday of the same week as Florence Nightingale’s birthday, May 12. This year’s theme is #WeAnswerTheCall and was developed by CNA to showcase nurses’ many roles in a patient’s healthcare journey. The pandemic brought to light the courage and commitment nurses work under every day and showed nurses’ vital role in the community. |
