Resident Care
| Resident Care is Our Passion The Carpenter Hospice is a tranquil setting for individuals and their friends and families who have chosen the hospice option. For this reason, we request that all with an interest in hospice care please call first in order to schedule time with a staff member. Inquiries about how to come to live at the hospice should be directed to the Intake Coordinator, Laurie Smith. A meeting to answer questions and assess suitability for the hospice can be then arranged at the hospice, at a private residence, or in a hospital room. | To make a referral or for more information about the Hospice’s programs, please contact: |
| Making the Call The Intake Coordinator can be contacted by email or calling and leaving a message (voice mail is checked frequently every day). Anyone can make initial contact – the patient, the family, health care professionals, clergy or friends. We hope that a review of guidelines for eligibility, the resident consent, directions to the hospice, and the palliative care information sheet will answer most of your questions. There is no charge for any of the programs at The Carpenter Hospice, however donations are encouraged and welcomed. | |
