Executive Director, The Carpenter Hospice, Burlington
Due to the recent retirement of our wonderful E.D., The Carpenter Hospice is searching for a new Executive Director.
The Carpenter Hospice is a 10 bedroom residential hospice that is known for its dedicated team of caring volunteers, staff and quality end of life care. Our organization is seeking a leader with passion and vision. This position will require an experienced decision maker who will lead, plan and oversee the services of our established non-profit organization serving the Burlington community.
The successful candidate will report to the Board chairperson and will be joining a supportive, well established cohesive team. This position is full time and will require occasional weekend and evening work to meet the needs of our organization.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with budgeting, personnel management and fundraising.
- A member of regulated health care college will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of government organizations and policies for end of life care will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills
