Ways to Donate

Online:
Make a secure online donation through Canada Helps. Be sure to include the name of the person in whose memory the donation is being made.

In Person:
Please visit us at 2250 Parkway Drive, Burlington, ON to make a donation in person at our reception desk between the hours of 9am and 9pm. We accept, cash, cheque, money orders, VISA, MasterCard and AMEX.

By Phone:
To make a donation by phone using VISA, MasterCard or AMEX please call 905-631-9994 

Mail:
We can accept your cheque and credit card contributions (MasterCard, VISA or American Express) by mail. Please make all cheques payable to The Carpenter Hospice, 2250 Parkway Drive, Burlington, Ontario L7P 1T1

Planned Giving:
Donors can designate The Carpenter Hospice (Legal name: The Burlington Rotary Community Hospice Inc.) as the beneficiary of their wills or life insurance. Your lawyer will need our charitable registration number and should contact us for further details.

Gifts of Securities:
Consider a gift of securities. You may want to donate publicly traded securities or mutual funds that have increased in value directly to The Carpenter Hospice. These gifts eliminate the capital gains tax you would have to pay on those securities.

Monthly Giving:
Monthly giving provides a reliable source of funding year round, which assists the Carpenter Hospice to offer much-needed programs and services in our community. Giving is made easy through different payment options we provide such as post-dated cheques or monthly credit card debits.

Donations in Lieu of Gifts:
You have the option to make a donation to The Carpenter Hospice in lieu of gifts. With the permission of your guests, we will send you a list of names and addresses (not amount) of those who donated in your honour.

Weddings:
You can make a donation to The Carpenter Hospice in honour of your guests! Our staff will be please to meet with you and together we will develop a message and medium appropriate for your special day to inform your guests of your donation.

In Memoriam:
You can make a donation in memory of someone who has passed away using one of our In Memoriam cards from the funeral home or you can give online, in person and over the phone.
